Your impact as Testlead at NN IP

We are looking for a new development team member with deep testing skills to join our team.

Who you are

As a testlead at RPS you work in a varied and challenging environment. You will of course conduct tests yourself, but more importantly you will coach and facilitate others to contribute to testing, as part of a whole-team approach to testing and quality. This means that as a testlead at NNIP you must be an excellent communicator. Your basic attitude should be to empathize with, to understand and to anticipate the daily work of your colleagues. These key skills are what we are looking for, as it will enable us to build more productive teams, raise quality and to deliver value to our customers.

Key skills:

• You advocate Specification by Example/BDD/ATDD and know how to take stakeholders and your teammates into the process of discovering and specifying requirements and test cases
• We think software quality is a responsibility of the whole team. While the testers are the experts we help the team in such a way that everyone can contribute and that we test in the most efficient and effective way. You endorse this, you advocate and apply such an approach, and you use agile metrics to measure and learn.
• You understand the importance of the maintainability of test cases: how do you achieve a test set that remains valuable and maintainable?
• You know exactly how to use test tools in real-life situations. You master the organization of end-to-end test cases, regression tests and test suites
• You are experienced in SaaS application testing: not just functionally but also performance, security, data integration, scalability, reliability and disaster recovery testing
• Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Experience with version control systems like GIT
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Protractor, etc.)
• Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management

Desirable skills:

• Experience with Event Driven Architecture
• Knowledge and understanding of the management of investments within the pension domain
• Experience with programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Java
• Experience with tools like SoapUI/ReadyAPI
• Experience with querying languages, such as SQL/PLSQ
• Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

Your colleagues

Retail & Pension Solutions (RPS) is the NN IP department that conducts investment administration for retail and retirement clients. On our platform we have onboarded more than 300,000 participants and this number is still growing. Our department includes both operational administration and support to our customers, as well as IT support and innovation. This year we will bring our platform to the Cloud, enabling us to achieve great economies of scale for our customers. Our scrum team works within the Agile framework so that we can respond quickly to changes.
